Notes: Florida Gulf Coast University
10501 FGCU Blvd, South
Fort Myers, FL 33965-6565

FGCU’s boundaries are roughly in between Ben Hill Griffin Pkwy and the dirt road connecting Alico Rd and Corkscrew Rd (the little road on the right of the center map marker).

FGCU’s boundaries are roughly between Lake Como and the forested area beneath South Village (the freshman dorms, which is the second little loop underneath the big loop, or FGCU’s main campus).

The forested area around FGCU is owned by Miromar Lakes, which is apparently “the #1 Residential Community in the USA”, although the forested land has been a cow pasture for years.

FGCU features miles of nature trails through bald cypress domes, slash pine/saw palmettos, and oak/hardwood dominant ecosystems.
