General Description:

On the one mile long Bailey Peninsula on the western shore of Lake Washington, a large freshwater lake which forms the eastern border of Seattle WA.


Habitat Description:

The park is glacial till covered with typical low-elevation forest for the Puget Sound area.
Common trees include:
Douglas Fire (Pseudotsuga menziesii)
Bigleaf Maple (Acer macrophyllum)
Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata)
Pacific Madrone (Arbutus menziesii)
