Without access to the whole article in Mycotaxon, I wonder too, if the alternative spelling has been properly published, or if it needs to be approved by some committee first (if it even will be)..

The genus Tylopilus isn’t monophyletic. This Rubinoboletus group might (just might) be close to some of them, but not to others..
The results from phylogenetic studies are not unambiguous.

so why is the prefered name the same, except with out an author?
