Brief Description:

Pileus: 3-7 cm. Convex to nearly flat. Margin incurved at first. Covered with long, pointed, recurved,orange rusty brown scales.

Stipe: 4-7 cm. Scaly like the cap up to the annular zone. White above. Equal or enlarged toward the base.

Gills: White becoming tawny, adnexed, edges slightly eroded.
