Brief Description:

The failure of the base of the stipe to discolor on standing, the presence of cuticular cystidia resembling the cheilocys- tidia, and the watery spots on the pileus are a unique set of characters when combined with the presence of a veil. Watery spots are common among the species in subgenus Denudata.
