Chrysomphalina (typified by Chr. chrysophylla) belongs to the Hygrophoraceae (see Lodge et al., 2014), however, Gerronema strombodes does not! It falls in the big LSU-based phylogeny by Moncalvo et al. in the same clade as Megacollybia, Hydropus and Clitocybula. It might have to be placed in a different genus than Gerronema, but it won’t be Chrysomphalina !
