A large Cystoderma with caps 3-9 cm broad, orange to tan with a granular, sometimes rugose cap.

Gills: adnate, close, whitish to pale tan.

Stipe: 5-8 cm long, equal, concolorous with the cap, granulose up to a flaring ring, whitish above the ring.

Spore print: white, spores amyloid.
