Brief Description:

Pileus plano-convex, glutinous, soon dry, radially rugulose to even, appearing somewhat appressed radially fibrillose in part near the disc, olive green on the disc, becoming greenish yellow to yellow toward the margin, olive at the margin. Flesh white or white with a faint yellow tint, unchanging with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed with a slight decurrent tooth, subdistant, yellowish white with more yellow toward an even margin, not staining when injured. Stipe equal downward and then expanding into a bulb with a short radicating “root,” yellow at apex, tan below, subpruinose and yellow at apex, transitioning to fine, granulose, brown scabers toward base, with interior white, unchanging, pithy to hollow.
Pleurocystidia fusoid to subcapitate. Basidiospores ellipsoid to sublimoniform.
