The type species of Sebacina is S. incrustans.

Brief Description:

Sebacina species are jelly fungus, that were considered Tremellas. Species of this genus were separated from Tremella because they are mycorrhizal, where species of Tremella are parasitic on other fungus. Usually Tremella will be found on wood and Sebacina will be found on the ground.

Ditch the MO Name pages and refer MO users to use a correct spelling from I/S Fungorum. Copy and paste works well. Refrain of making taxonomical decisions on MO!
