“In the genus Cyathus, members of the Section Eucyathus are among the best defined and most easily recognized. All species in this section have peridia which are unmistakably plicate or fluted as to the outside as well as the inside. Individual species differ mainly in spore size and macroscopic characters; all however are some shade of brown, usually quite intense.”
