Brief Description:

One of the three largest euagaric families wiith nearly 1500 described species. Has flesh or pinkish spore deposits; spores have even cyanophilic walls and look angular in polar view due to ornamentations arising from the epicorium of the cell wall.1

Yesterday, this Name was changed, without explanation, from Entolomataceae to Entoloma sericeum. See log. I’m changing it back to Entolomataceae pending explanation.
