is the closest match? I have a mac pc and my laptop is in need of repair so I am
unable to check. Unfortunately no one writes phylogenetic tree software and spore measurement software for mac.

No close ITS matches. Maybe it needs its own genus in the Phanerochaetaceae or Irpicaceae?

It’s good to have that pointer so that users understand why Phlebia incarnata is preferred by MO and to deter them from trying to change the preference.

See my comment on Byssomerulius incarnatus.

Byssomerulius incarnatus is the current (2018-11-07) name of Phlebia incarnata per both
Mycobank http://www.mycobank.org/..., and
Index Fungorum http://www.indexfungorum.org/...

No evidence there is anything wrong with this name.
83-84% Phlebia leptosperma, a lot of Bjerkandera adusta, Phanerochaete allantospora, Terana caerulea, Flavidon flavus, other Phlebia and Byssomerulius species.
