What are Lyophyllaceae?

When you look at Lyophyllaceae in MO (11 observations), you realize that the MO concept of Lyophyllaceae is much broader and includes all white spore genera that are not Mycena, Amanita, Lactarius and Russula. I am not a mycologist, but I feel that the MO should pay some attention to this problem and try to define what belongs to that family.
