Sporocarps stalked, scattered, 1.3-1.7 mm total height. Sporothecae globose, 0.6-0.9 mm diam., greyish-white. Hypothallus inconspicuous. Stalk calcareous, orange-yellow. Peridium thick, with circular plates of lime, with marked grooves where the plates meet, the base persisting as a cup. Capillitium a dense network of colourless tubules and irregular, angular nodes which are white in the mass but pale yellow by TL. Spore-mass black. Spores pale lilac-brown, 9.5-10.5 µm diam., minutely roughened. Plasmodium unknown.
