Mycena capillaripes Peck 41 Rep. p. 63. — Pileo membranáceo, campanulato, glabro, liygrophauo, udo livide gríseo vel brunneo, striato, sicco pallidiore, odore debili alkalino; lamellis adscendentibus, subdistantibus, adnatis, albidis v. lívido—albis, margine obscure brunneo-purpureo; stipite gracili, subcapillari, fragili, glabro, cavo, pileo concolori; sporis auguste ellipsoideis, 7.5 – 4.

Hab. sub Pinus, Karner Amer. bor. — Pileus 7.5-12.5 cm. lat.; stipes 3.5-6.5 cm. long., vix 0.5 mm. cr. Mycena rubromarginata affinis.
