Cap 3-6cm, soon expanded and depressed at center, buff to apricot-yellow at margin, dark brown at center, pruinose when dry, peel easily, margin slightly tuberculate. Gills white, rather broad, subcrowded. Stem white, spngy. Odor nil. Taste slightly acrid. Spores ochraceous (F-G), 7-10 × 6-8 microns, warts 0.3-0.6 micron, mostly isolated. Pcy scarce, small, fusiform, SV+. Deciduous woods.
