Cap: viscid, glabrous, except for a subflocculent margin, 5-16 cm wide, convex to flat, white or with a yellowish center; flesh thick, white, odor and taste mild.
Gills: adnate to subdecurrent, veined at times, subdistant, broad, white, becoming yellowish in age, edges entire.
Stipe: 5-10 cm long, 1.5-2 cm thick, white, equal, often pointed at the base, solid, dry, glabrous or slightly floccose at the apex.
