Name: Tricholoma davisiae
Citation: Bull. Torrey Bot. Club 27(12): 611 (1900)
Deprecated Synonyms: Melanoleuca davisiae (Peck) Murrill
see the type study by Pfister (1984; Mycotaxon 19: 101-132), in which the spores of this species are described as smooth, and non-amuloid.
Note that Murrill had a different concept of Melanoleuca than we have nowadays, and that it included species we now place in Tricholoma.
