Habitat:

Found under conifers pine (2 and 3 needle).


Look Alikes:

Suillus pallidiceps; with white cap when young darkening to cinnomon or yellowish in age. cap also sticky.
Suillus occidentalis, found in the Southwest, cap paler but not white when young.
