Look Alikes:

Lepiota rubrotinctoides – an early appearing member of Leucoagaricus sect. Rubrotincti. It is a big species with a very characteristic dark pileus centre.
Just for the record, Leucoagaricus rubrotinctus is a species of eastern North America, here in the west we have many undescribed species.
The present species was described in the genus Lepiota, by Murrill, and still has to be transferred to Leucoagaricus (or another genus). It does not belong in Lepiota in the strict sense.
