General Description:

Small (cap <= 4.5 cm) toothed fungus with light brownish cap.


Diagnostic Description:

Has larger spores (Me = 9.5 × 9.0 μm) than similar H. umbilicatum (Me = 8.6–8.9 × 8.0–8.1 μm). See Niskanen 20181.


Distribution:

Western North America. See Niskanen 2018.1

Conifer forests.
