HABITAT hardwood forest on mountain top; SUBSTRATE maple; ASPECT partly shaded; NOTES no pigment, maculate short lobes, pale below near tips with mostly simple rhizines near edge, rhizines forking and moderately dense in black interior, abundantly pustulate on rugose wrinkles in interior, apparently no soredia, medulla K~y C- KC+rose
