THALLUS: bright yellow-green, rimose, dull, K-, KC-, C-
APOTHECIA: mazaediate, black, semi-immersed (fully immersed when very young), epruinose, exciple wall brown-black and thick below, spore mass brown-black
SPORES: 2 cell, constricted, essentially smooth, dark brown, 19+/-1 × 12/-0.9 µm (Q=1.5/-0.1) (N=11)

How exciting! A non-stalked calicioid lichen!
