Observation 10318: Pluteus longistriatus (Peck) Peck

When: 2008-09-01

Collection location: Strouds Run State Park, Athens, Ohio, USA [Click for map]

Who: Dan Molter (shroomydan)

No specimen available

Notes:
These two rather nondescript mushrooms were growing from a fallen sycamore branch. Pink tones on the unattached gills suggests Pluteus. They keyed out as Pluteus longistriatus or something close to it in Mushrooms Demystified.
