Observation 10379: Psilocybe caerulescens Murrill

When: 2008-08-20

Collection location: San Sebastián del Oeste, Jalisco, Mexico [Click for map]

1540m

Who: Alan Rockefeller (Alan Rockefeller)

No specimen available

Notes:
After walking around for hours finding almost nothing Cactu saw this wall that was covered with Psilocybe zapotecorum. In addition to hundreds of specimens of that species there was one mushroom that was different, it didn’t have a scaly stem. It appears closer to P. villarrealiae or P. caerulescens. We didn’t pick it.
