Brown polypores. Some of them are pendant in a manner reminiscent of Porodisculus pendulus but others are more flattish. On cut pine logs.

On what basis do you claim it is “doubtful” that this is in Polyporaceae? Name the specific field character that makes membership in that family unlikely, in your opinion.
