Observation 10664: Mycena (Pers.) Roussel

When: 2008-08-12

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

Notes:
Little, dry, pale orange-tan, with fragile stems, scattered in a grassy clearing in mixed woods. They don’t look very Hygrocybeish to me. Marasmius and other genera of small, sometimes colorful mushrooms come to mind though.
