When: 2008-08-29

Collection location: Saint Martins, New Brunswick, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

This grey bolete was sometimes fairly tall, with a cap the size of my hand or so, and some were found right at the bases of trees. Pore layer often domed downwards, so somewhat visible in side-on photos.

In coastal Acadian forest.
