Collection location: Mingo Wildlife Refuge, near Puxico, Missouri, USA [Click for map]
Found at Missouri Mycological Society annual foray at Mingo by my daughter, Rachel, then aged 7. ID by Jay Justice, believed to be Amanita “sp T-44”. Specimen dried and sent to RET. This was the first time seen in MO to our knowledge. Seen again the following year and now likely seen this year (2012).
