Based just on the picture at this website, I want to call it A. pseudoporphyria.

not that you were intending to…lovely amanita, and it’s great to see what’s fruiting in your part of the world. vicarious myco-travel is much more pleasant than dealing with the hassle and expense of air travel these days…Nathan’s timing in setting up this site is impeccable!

The species appears to belong to section Phalloideae

Among the possible determinations would be the following:

Amanita fuliginea Hongo

Amanita griseoturcosa T. Oda, C. Tanaka & Tsuda

Amanita pseudoporphyria Hongo

all known from Japan.

The species described from Singapore and Malaya by Corner and Bas in 1962 might also be checked as possible determinations.

I have insufficient experience with Japanese fungi to be able to determine this species from photographs.
