Observed on early morning walk on lawn in residential neighborhood. When I returned in the afternoon with camera and sketchbook, the gardeners had come and gone leaving a beheaded mushroom and two buttons, which opened over the course of one day in a moist enclosed environment at room temperature.
Spore print white. Pileus pale tan to white, umbo cool brown. Gills white, free, thin and very close. Annulus moveable. Open pileus 3.2cm, stipe .5cm at apex, total height 7cm. Stipe white with pale tan bruising where touched. Satiny and hollow. Base bulbous.
