Observation 11325: Agaricales sensu lato

When: 2008-09-18

Collection location: Forest near Elgin St., Pembroke, Ontario, Canada [Click for map]

Who: Paul Derbyshire (Twizzler)

No specimen available

This tiny agaric has a delicate pink touch to the center of its cap.

Found on the rotting stump with the mushrooms of obs. 11239, three days after those were first observed. Nearby was a Clavulinopsis laeticolor (obs. 11324) and a bit farther away there were three more (obs. 11240).

Nearby was a rotting log with another Clavulinopsis laeticolor (obs. 11324) and two of a different species of tiny agaric (obs. 11323).

There were other small and medium-sized mushrooms in the general area, most of which I did not bother to photograph, except for one Cortinarius alboviolaceus near a different stump a few feet away (obs. 11401). There was one of the mushrooms from obs. 11317 in this area too.
