This tiny gilled bracket was less than 1cm wide. It broke when I picked it, so I only got 2/3 of it in the second photo. The camera also had difficulty focusing on such a small target.
Fourth photograph: on the 25th I saw this log again, and there were more of these growing, and some had gotten larger. On the 29th they were larger still and I photographed one (fourth photo).
Is there a good key for classifying stalkless gilled mushrooms that anyone knows of?
