This looks like a Scutellinia-type ascomycete cup fungus, growing on a chunk of a fallen pine. There were at least two of them, along with a bumper crop of a tiny species of brown mushroom (obs. 11595).

First three photos were taken on the 25th; next three four days later, at which time I found more of these little things. None were more than about 3mm across, which appears to be approximately their maximum size.
