MEDULLA: white
ALGAE: green
APOTHECIA: lecideine, black, to 0.8 mm, round, convex, rim slightly raised, exciple black & thick, hymenium and epihymenium clear, paraphyses unbranched & slightly thickened brown at v tips, asci thollus thick, hymenium filled with little (1-2 µm) bubbles
SPORE: 8 per ascus, elliptical, brown, 4 main cells each containing many small cells or lots of bubbles, 40-50 × 15-20 µm
