What is this, LichenObserver? :-) Time for some variety. Here’s a cort for you. Found this in birch-dominated woods with a bit of pine, in a spot that’s been producing drab corts all September.
This one was the size of my hand or a bit less, and brown. It was found in the same area as, and is probably the same species as, that in obs. 11449 and 11450.
Stem and flesh whitish, though everything else brownish.
