An interesting lichen with stick-like extentions, and black tips. Growing on rock at the top of Shephard Point, the extreme top of Larch Mountain.

Used references: Brodo: cool! I’ve never seen this one in person! It is very similar to the more common P. acicularis, but has conspicuously elongated black shiny apothecia at the end of its (shorter) podetia.
