As is the case with many a Daldinia concentrica observation here, a cross section showing concentrically zoned rings is what defines this species, and you have no such cross section to display. I can see a chunk taken out of one fruiting body in the blurrier of the two shots. Inside is what appears to be a black homogeneous mass, but no rings. D. concentrica should also have some purple peridium coloration and copious amounts of black spores on the fruit bodies and anything near them. This observation is best assigned Fungi sp. or Xylariaceae sp until better photographs or more information is present.
