When: 2008-10-10

Collection location: Southeast Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]

Who: Daniel B. Wheeler (Tuberale)

No specimen available

This broadly lobed dark green lichen has a white edge to the fronds, tiny white somethings (larger than hairs) on the surface, and a rumpled, bumpy black or blackish-green central area. I did not look at the reverse. Found on a cherry tree in a local park, growing on the underside of a large branch/side trunk.
