This single specimen was found under Sitka spruce a mile or two from the ones noted in Observations #4308 and #4307 (last year about the same time). It has all the characteristics of an Amanita vaginata or A. constricta, but without the gray or grayish tints. The cap and stem scales were yellowish brown and the low umbo on the cap was a reddish brown. The white spores were not amyloid and were nearly round and seemed to be in the 8-11 micron range.
