APOTHECIA: black, v convex, margin apparent but just as black as disc, hypothecium red brown
SPORE: needle-like, colorless, sharp ends or slightly enlarged toward one blunt end, several to many cells in a row, more than 5 per ascus (probably 8)
PARAPHYSES: v narrow, vivid green tips, unbranched
