When: 2008-10-11

Collection location: Larch Mountain, Multnomah Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]

Who: Daniel B. Wheeler (Tuberale)

No specimen available

Cap: about 3 inches wide, roughly conical. Gills adnate or slightly decurrent (specimen may have been frozen, so gills could have been detached somewhat from the temperature); creamy white to slightly yellowish, sometimes staining or bruising or freezing light brown. Cap brown, fibrillose, deeply cracked (possibly from temperature). Stipe mostly white, with white scale-like things that aren’t scales, at least to me; 4-5 inches long.
