Observation 12358: Russula Pers.

When: 2008-10-11

Collection location: Larch Mountain, Multnomah Co., Oregon, USA [Click for map]

Who: Daniel B. Wheeler (Tuberale)

No specimen available

Notes:
Cap covered with dirt and humus when first found, looking more like a hump than a mushrump. Gills barely visible. Cap mostly whitish gray, with striations and widely spaced gills, which sometimes flare apart then join closer to the rim, suggesting an approach to the Macowanites or Arcangeliella.
