Tiny 1/4-inch wide conical to bell-shaped mushroom, mostly growing on leaf litter, abundant in area searched. Center of cap bright yellow, toning to nearly white at margin; striate; thin-fleshed; stipe transluscent white to pale yellowish at base, nearly 2 inches tall, with some mycelial threads attached at base but not the abundant mycelial tuft I associate with Mycena.
