Under pine, but away from the mossy patches with the Cantharellula. First photo shows what the habitat looks like. Next two are of one mushroom. Next two are of another. Sixth photo is of a smaller specimen. Its stem broke, but the tapering shape of the stipe is apparent in some of the other photos.

Seventh photo is from two weeks (to the day, and almost to the hour) after the first six. The mushrooms in this photo are different individuals. The species has been fruiting continually in a few-dozen-square-meters area for over two weeks then.
