Observation 130735: Leccinellum Bresinsky & Manfr. Binder

Mixed wet sclerophyll: Eucalyptus, Allocasuarina.

This Observation documents a taxon similar to one Gerhard Koller (Obs 95486) posted. These are similar to Obs 20658 that I posted a while back.

Proposed Names

Recognized by sight: Pileus 3-6 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, rugulose cerebriform, with appressed fine black to dark gray brown tufted squamules, with pale ochraceous color(s) showing beneath and between squamule tufts. Flesh yellowish white (3,4A2), unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, yellowish white (3,4A2), becoming olive green to olive brown (4E7,6), unchanging when exposed, with pores a dark brown, unchanging. Stipe 4-9 cm long, 1 cm broad, equal to barely subclavate, dry, densely subpruinose to almost scabrous, overall, more reticulate smeared near base, yellowish white at base, with interior dark yellowish white becoming somewhat mottled and pale brownish with exposure, to brown in base.

they could be the same or at least very similar. Also growth with Eucalyptus would fit.
