Observation 130776: Amanita subsect. Gemmatae

The cap is approximately 2.5 inches in diameter. The bulb height is 0.5 inches, with the stipe above the bulb measuring 2.5 inches. The stipe turned very faintly tan after handling. The mushroom appeared as one in section Vaginatae before the bulb was unearthed. This specimen is being dried and sent to Dr. Tulloss.
