Morel in 6-8 month old wood chip mulch on a sunny slope facing east or southeast. High temps near 60°F and partly sunny recently, with some showers as well. Nearest trees are Salix and Populus ssp. 50-100 feet away. Two other small (1-2cm), immature morels also observed.
