Recognized by sight: I have no idea if this species appears down there. But the shagginess of the stipe and cap don’t seem right, at least for G. marginata. I should take a look at the Galerina of Australia paper for more detail.

After taking this photo I noticed an unusual growth on one of the fungi. I am not sure if it is a mutation or another smaller younger fungi that has dropped onto another. The photo is taken as they were, under a log with caps facing to the forest floor. (please see circled area and view at max size : re comment.)
