This pair had a surprising yellowish cast and were more slender, pointed than others seen on the same day, which were more round and more gray (see previous observation). In leaf duff beneath Tulip Poplar.

That is a Tamron 60mm F2 macro on my new Canon SLR. Until I get better control of the flash, the depth of field is near zero. But you can see why it is called a portrait lens, can’t you? W/o flash everything that I photograph is a portrait now and I guess for now, that is okay!
